Do you teach grade 4-8? Join us for a STEAM-focused pro-d day with GearBots!
Dereck Dirom, from GearBots Educational Resources, will be joining the team at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre to host an educator development day that will include a 3 hour robotics workshop, our new Planetarium show, Exploring the Moon, and our new Groundstation Canada show, Living on the Lunar Gateway.
This workshop will be ideal for teachers who want to integrate Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies curriculum into their classroom practice, get familiar with the basics of coding a robotic device, strategize ways to implement robotics into classroom practice, and raise awareness of Canada’s contributions to the Artemis Mission and lunar exploration as curriculum-relevant material for their classrooms.
Register today! Spots are limited.
This program is free to attend, and is undertaken with the financial support of the Canadian Space Agency.
