Interweaving themes of land, Indigenous identity, history, and language, multidisciplinary artist Jessica McMann debuts at IndieFest to present the concert version of her new album, Prairie Dusk. Join Jessica McMann, Holly Battacharya, Jonathon Adams, and Perri Lo for a concert that blends classical music, storytelling, and stunning visuals to depict McMann’s journey through 60’s Scoop displacement, family, and the feeling of wholeness when returning home. Evoking the sounds and stories of the prairies, this event is both a personal healing, as well as a truthful expose of her experience as an Cree, two-spirit, person.
