“We are super excited that Vancouver has been confirmed for another year as a stop on the HSBC SVNS Series,” said Olivia Apps, Captain of Canada Women’s Sevens Team and 2024 Olympic silver medalist. “Last year was so memorable for the team, beating Australia in the bronze medal game in front of a home crowd filled with our friends and family. The atmosphere inside BC Place is unmatched compared to any other stop on the series. Vancouver will definitely be the “place to be” in February next year. We love playing at home and the team is thrilled to be going back!”
Fans will have an opportunity to cheer on both Canadian sevens teams over the course of the weekend at BC Place. The Paris 2024 Olympic silver medalists, Canada’s Women’s Sevens Team, will take to the pitch for HSBC SVNS Vancouver, with Canada’s Men’s Sevens Team competing in a Fast Four invitational tournament.
