音画编导组合：加拿大英才音乐学院校长杨忠才先生与国家级画家NPC艺术设计学院校长安建军先生 、将亲自执棒．演绎／绘画，为您呈现一场震撼心灵的音乐盛宴。
璀璨阵容：古筝专家陈文英、打击乐专家潘沃流、曹洋、锁呐演奏家吴忠喜．肖晨光． 琵琶演奏家莫娜娜、中阮演奏家张丹卉．今年小金钟奖得主金利雅等一众国乐师生将倾情演绎，呈现中国传统音乐的震撼魅力。更有加拿大英才中乐团带您徜徉在传统与现代交织的音乐海洋中。

A Musical Journey Through Time and Space
An extraordinary musical journey is about to begin! Hosted by the Canada Y.C. Chinese Orchestra Association and co-organized by the Canada Y.C. Music Academy and NPC Academy of Arts and Design, the concert “Music & Visual Art: Music of Yunnan” will make its grand debut on October 13, 2024, at 7:00 PM at Richmond’s Gateway Theatre. This is not just a feast of music and art; it’s an immersive experience that takes you through time and space to the enchanting landscapes of Yunnan.
Artistic Duo: The event will be directed by Yang Zhongcai, the Principal of the Canada Y.C. Music Academy, and An Jianjun, a renowned national-level artist and President of NPC Academy of Arts and Design. Together, they will orchestrate and paint, offering you an awe-inspiring musical feast.
Stellar Lineup: Featuring an impressive array of artists, including Guzheng expert Chen Wenying, percussion masters Pan Woliu and Cao Yang, Suona virtuosos Wu Zhongxi and Xiao Chenguang, Pipa player Mo Nana, Zhongruan player Zhang Danhui, and this year’s Xiao Jinzhong Award winner, Jin Liya. Alongside them, the Canada Elite Chinese Orchestra will guide you through a musical ocean where tradition meets modernity.
A Visual and Auditory Feast: For the first time, art will be used as a backdrop to enhance the elegance of the Guzheng, the tenderness of the Pipa, the depth of the Zhongruan, and the charm of the Hulusi. This perfect blend of traditional instruments and modern art allows you to experience the unique allure of Yunnan and the profound beauty of Chinese culture, even from the other side of the world.
