The West Coast Symphony Orchestra is rested, relaxed and ready to open the 2024/2025 season with a blockbuster show! In commemoration of the upcoming 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, we have crafted a special program entirely dedicated to the music of the iconic German born composer, Ludwig van Beethoven. Joining the orchestra is Vancouver's own legendary pianist, Ian Parker*, who will dazzle and bring to life with precision Beethoven’s powerful and majestic ‘Emperor’ Piano Concerto. Following an intermission, the orchestra will present one of Beethoven's greatest orchestral masterpieces, Symphony No. 3, the "Eroica". With a concert steeped in powerful narrative and profound emotional depth, we invite you to immerse yourself in the genius and drama of one of the best-loved composers of all time.
