Maria and Ike first crossed paths in Berlin in 2022, a meeting marked more by mutual dislike than musical chemistry. But four months later, fate had other plans when they ran into each other outside Peckham Audio in London. It was at that party that Ike coined the name Bassvictim, claiming the bass was “too intense” not to leave a mark.
The duo dropped their debut single “Canary Wharf Freestyle” in 2023, carving out a raw, genre-blurring sound that's as confrontational as it is addictive.
