The original exhibition, titled "SALMON: Cannery Days," featured a selection of Dempsey's pieces that honoured the last generation of Indigenous cannery workers who lived, worked, and fished at salmon canneries on the northwest coast.
In this version of the exhibition, guest curator Nakkita Trimble will maintain the tribute to Indigenous cannery workers while presenting larger carved works and various prints.
