The band released eleven studio albums, all of which reached the charts in Canada and the United States. Their 1970 album American Woman reached no. 1 in Canada and no. 9 in the United States, while five other albums reached the top ten in Canada. The Guess Who charted fourteen Top 40 singles in the United States and more than thirty in Canada.
The band found their greatest success in the late 60s and early 70s, under the leadership of singer/keyboardist Burton Cummings and guitarist Randy Bachman, with hit songs including “American Woman”, “These Eyes”, “No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature”, and “No Time”.
With Randy’s powerful guitar work and Burton’s distinct vocals and keyboard mastery, the duo continues to capture the spirit of what made The Guess Who a household name. They are more than just former bandmates—they are ambassadors of Canadian rock, whose influence can be heard in countless acts that followed in their footsteps. The Guess Who were pioneers who dared to dream beyond their borders—and succeeded on a global stage. In 2026, Burton and Randy are reuniting on stage as The Guess Who for the first time in twenty-three years on their upcoming Takin’ It Back North American Tour.
This year marks the official debut of the Freedom Mobile Arch – purpose‑built for world‑class performances, the state‑of‑the‑art amphitheatre delivers enhanced sightlines, exceptional acoustics, and an immersive fan experience designed to elevate every show. The Summer Night Concerts enter a bold new era—where unforgettable nights, an iconic outdoor setting, and the vibrant energy of the PNE Fair come together in one extraordinary experience.
