About Welcoming Week:
Since 2012, Welcoming Week has been an annual celebration that highlights communities striving to be more welcoming and inclusive places for everyone, including immigrants. Through local events and activities, organizations and communities bring together neighbours of all backgrounds to celebrate diversity, foster mutual understanding, build strong connections, and create a greater sense of belonging for all. Welcoming Week also affirms the importance of welcoming and inclusive communities in achieving collective prosperity.
