For the past two years, thousands of families have made the trip to The Shipyards for one of the most culturally rich days on the Metro Vancouver calendar. They come for the performances. They stay for everything else. In 2026, we are going bigger than ever.

This is not a generic community event. Every performer, vendor, and activation at Festivibe was chosen with this specific community at heart. We want you to have a full day dedicated to celebrating YOU & your beautiful culture.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
The main stage runs all day. Cultural performances span continents — dance, music, and movement rooted in living traditions brought by communities that have made the North Shore and Metro Vancouver home. You will see many cultures, all coming together for the day & sharing the same stage. That is the point.

Between sets, enjoy a full artisan market inside the Pipe Shop Venue and food experience outdoors! Cuisines from across the region alongside Artisan vendors.

At Shipyards Commons, the Kids Village runs its own programming with activities like face painting, music and art workshops, and dedicated space for families with younger children.

Admission to the festival is free, with Kids Village admission supporting Kids Life Foundation.

THE EXPERIENCE:
Enjoy a full day of live multicultural performances, international food and beverage vendors, and live entertainment from opening until the final performance. Explore a curated artisan and wellness market inside the historic Pipe Shop Venue (12:00 PM–7:00 PM), while families discover the Kids Village (12:00 PM–7:00 PM), an interactive extension of the festival where children can explore creativity, culture, music, movement, and hands-on experiences as parents enjoy the festival just steps away.
More than a traditional kids event, the Kids Village is part of a larger celebration where every generation has something to discover.

The Cookie Studio by Afghan Bites — Handcrafted cookies and Afghan-inspired desserts.
The Good Chocolatier — Premium artisan chocolates.
Gary's Kettle Corn — Freshly popped kettle corn made throughout the day.
Le Parfait: Lebanese artisan ice-cream, crepe and more!

Artisan Market (12:00 PM–7:00 PM):
Explore one of the most diverse indoor/outdoor artisan markets. Step inside the historic Pipe Shop for a curated indoor experience featuring local artisans, specialty makers, Koja Café, and a rotating mix of cultural and creative experiences.
Browse unique finds, relax in the Middle Eastern-inspired café and gathering space, and discover live body painting, Ikebana floral art, a guided meditation experience, and short cultural talks and demonstrations throughout the day.
