Historic Stewart Farm and Totest Aleng: Indigenous Learning House invite you to connect with the land and each other.

Performers:
Come see Canadian folk singer-songwriter Pat Chessell perform songs that paint livid portraits of life's struggles and triumphs.

Both kids and adults will delight in Raymond Nakamura's reading of his book Peach Girl, a quirky modern telling of an old Japanese folktale. The renowned children’s book author, educator and cartoonist will do two 30 minute readings.

Make a corn husk doll:
Join Métis artist Sheila Lowe for a hands-on corn husk doll making activity in the studio at Totest Aleng: Indigenous Learning House. Participants will create their own traditional corn husk doll while learning about the stories, teachings and cultural significance behind this cherished Indigenous craft.

Let's eat!
There will be food trucks onsite. Fill up with Gourmet Grub and then cool down with Kona Ice.
