Witty and sexy in equal measure, Mary Shelley Meets a Monster invites guests into a stormy June in 1816, when Mary Shelley and four companions decamp to a villa on Lake Geneva to invent a new genre of literature.
It begins simply enough as an evening spent rained in with some of the greatest creative minds in history, but soon becomes a story about love, sex, creation, ambition, power, and resurrecting the dead.
Mary Shelley Meets a Monster runs October 15-31 at the Silk Purse Arts Centre in West Vancouver. All performances at 7:30pm with a highly-recommended 7pm pre-show.
