Taking shears to your garden can feel intimidating, but proper pruning is essential for maintaining healthy trees and shrubs. In this 3-hour workshop, Rosina will guide you through pruning objectives, different types of pruning cuts, and basic plant biology while sharing practical techniques to help you care for your garden with confidence. You’ll also learn how to choose the right tools and properly care for and maintain them.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll feel more confident tackling pruning in your own backyard. There will also be plenty of time to ask questions, so come prepared with your tree-related queries!
The workshop begins indoors with a slide presentation before moving outdoors for hands-on learning, so dress for the weather and wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty as you enjoy a day of education and creativity.
Absolutely no experience is required.
