Take a tour of the treatment plant and enjoy some games and interactive exhibits to learn more about the world of ghostly grease, phantom pipes and eerie unflushables.
This Halloween-themed, family-oriented event includes interactive displays, a chance to learn something about the plant and our wastewater system (even if you can’t take a tour) and to see some pretty impressive pipes, sewer equipment and trucks.
This event is a rare chance to visit the Lulu Island Wastewater Treatment plant that services the City of Richmond.
Please pre-register for tours below. Registration is limited to five people per person. No large groups please. For safety reasons, children must be ten years old or older to go on this tour.
If you are not able to pre-register for a tour, a limited number of tour spaces will be also be available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the event. You can sign up for these spaces at the Lulu Island wastewater treatment plant during the event.
