Hang out out with other teens and explore the arts in a fun, relaxed environment. Express yourself in 3, drop-in art activities inspired by our popular annual Positively Petite miniature art show, as well as lantern making led by our community engagement specialist, artist Catherine Dumaine. All art activities are casual and "drop in."
Admission is free, and snacks are provided.
Art Activities
Mini tea stain drawings
With Positively Petite artist Jo-Ann Sheen, use the shapes of tea or coffee stains on printmaking paper as inspiration to make creative drawings.
Mini pop-art drawings
Draw with pencil crayons or markers on card stock, taking inspiration from artists like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.
Mini holiday wreaths
Make tiny wreaths for the holidays out of all-natural materials.
Lantern Making
With artist Catherine Dumaine, make a lantern inspired by those from Korean culture.
