Flautist Sarah Jackson takes the audience on a musical journey that includes the famous Vivaldi Piccolo Concerto in C, La Tourterelle by Eugene Damare, and Butterfly by Russell Nadel. Currently, Sarah is piccolo player with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and was formerly flautist with the Vancouver Symphony. She is well known to North Vancouver audiences having performed on a number of occasions with Lions Gate Sinfonia under the baton of her husband, LGS conductor Clyde Mitchell. For this concert, Sarah will be joined by members of the Capilano Flute Choir and their leader Brenda Fedoruk.
