On the program is Abbie Betinis’ lively From Behind the Caravan and the Canadian premiere of hauntingly beautiful Armenian hymns arranged by Serouj Kradjian for Bayrakdarian, cello (Rebecca Wenham), and women’s voices. Bayrakdarian’s spellbinding voice has been heard on stages around the world in repertoire as diverse as baroque opera and contemporary music, including on the sound track of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
