This Edmonton-based, award-winning improv troupe was co-created by Todd Houseman and Ben Gorodetsky and brings together the unlikely combination of Cree storytelling, Chekhovian character drama and spontaneous comedy!
“one of the most interesting, compelling and viscerally thrilling pieces of theatre you’ll see this season” – Mooney on Theatre
For each performance, the recipe is as follows: take one part Cree or Dene origin story from the Indigenous, oral tradition; add one part Russian character drama inspired by Anton Chekhov; stir in one part additional world culture—chosen by the audience at each show; bake for 60 minutes before a live audience; and the result is a fast, furious, and folksy improv show like you’ve never seen before!
“…great, creative physicality. Truly, anything is possible in this room, and the magic is palpable.” – The Way I See It Theatre
