Special Activites from 12pm-3pm
Science in Space: March 19th and 20th
Science the heck out of the solar system! Learn about the planets in the solar system by making solar system headbands. Then, figure out which ones are rocky, gassy, and which ones have volcanoes! While we’re at it, we’ll erupt our giant volcano in an explosive demonstration!
Tech in Space: March 21th and 22th
Computers, telescopes, and robots! Space is the place we send the latest technological advancements, and we’ll learn all about them! Help you make a model of the most famous telescope in the universe, Hubble!
Engineering in Space: March 15th and 16th, March 23rd and 24th
Calling all rocket enthusiasts! Explore your inner engineer by building your own rocket or catapult.
Plus, ever wonder what’s inside your computer or smart phone? We’ll have a look with circuit board demonstrations.
Art in Space: March 17th and 18th, March 25th and 26th
What does a black hole look like? Today we paint black holes and nebulas, with our educators on hand all about them!
