My art is a combination of my two favourite art forms – First Nations art and graffiti. By painting clothing such as hoodies and shoes, I bring together the worlds of the retail industry and the immense graffiti scene in this city

With such a thriving and prosperous retail industry, I think the arts scene is sometimes forgotten or overlooked, especially graffiti. I’ve painted these everyday clothing items to re-emphasize the close relationship of these two worlds which sometimes seem different but are very much alike. I hope the viewers will come away with a more appreciative look at graffiti art next time they see it and also look at the artistic side of Vancouver’s retail industry.
Window Gallery
The Window Gallery is a Roundhouse exhibition space for artists who explore the links between community and creativity in their work. The WINDOW art exhibit is located in the vitrine (glass case) in the Roundhouse at the main entrance on Pacific Street side. WINDOW artists show their art for two months.
