The eldest sister, Agnes MacKeigan (Colleen Byberg) comes home after years of living the free-spirited life of an actress and waitress in Toronto, while middle sister Theresa (Amy Starkey) is a nun working on a farm in New Brunswick. Together, they return to join youngest sister Louise (Lauren Campbell) who has stayed home to care for Mother. The different life choices these sisters have made come to a head, as they find a way to reconcile the past with each other, their parents and the crossroads they have all reached in their own lives.
