BLOOD DINER is a classic, very fun (and very 80s) throwback to HG Lewis‘ ‘Bloodfeast’ about two brothers who operate a diner… That kills and serves beautiful women as a sacrifice to their Egyptian god.
Ms. Kong is touring a restored version of the film, and will be on-hand in person at the Rio to intro the film and participate in a Q&A!
“There are two kinds of horror fans out there: those who have seen BLOOD DINER, and those who have not. If you’re in the latter category, this writer pities you, as Jackie Kong’s insane, gory-as-hell horror comedy classic is one that needs to be seen to be believed.” (Fangoria)
BLOOD DINER (Jackie Kong, 1987 / 18A / 88 mins) Two cannibalistic brothers kill various young women to make their flesh part of their new special dish at their rundown restaurant while seeking blood sacrifices to awaken a dormant Egyptian goddess.
