By exploring specificity, emotion and commitment, this class will aim to up the power of your offers!
Prerequisite: Students must have completed Intro to Improv or Improv Level 1 at Instant Theatre, or equivalent at other institutions.
Students: Please bring a water bottle, notebook, and snacks, as this is a longer session.
Instructor bio:
Amy started improvising with Edmonton’s Rapid Fire Theatre in 2002, and she served as Artistic Director of that company for six years. She is a skilled instructor of both short and long form improvisation, and has traveled to many festivals around the globe. Her improv duo, Rå Power, with Joleen Ballendine, is her current improv passion project. When not improvising, Amy performs sketch comedy with Gossamer Obsessions, and appears regularly on CBC Radio’s The Irrelevant Show. Amy now lives in Vancouver and is jazzed to perform with Instant Theatre.
