April 26, join Cold Case author Eve Lazarus as she looks behind the scenes at the investigation of the unsolved murder of Jennie Conroy
On December 27, 1944, 24-year-old Jennie Conroy finished her shift at the grain elevators and left to join her family for a late Christmas dinner. Jennie missed her bus by less than a minute. The next day her body was found at West Vancouver’s Capilano View Cemetery. She had been beaten to death with a claw hammer. Join Eve Lazarus, journalist, author and blogger who has a passion for unconventional history and a fascination with murder. Her books include Cold Case Vancouver: the city’s most baffling unsolved murders and Sensational Vancouver. Her latest book is Blood, Sweat, and Fear: the story of Inspector Vance, Vancouver’s first forensic investigator.
