Lonsdale Artisan Farmer's Market started on the East Plaza at the Quay in April of 2002. The location is perfect for a Farmer's Market as it has trees which shade the vendors and a cool breeze coming off the water which is great for keeping the produce cool. The location is spectacular with a view of Vancouver and the cruise ships arriving and departing.
The market has great diversity in vendors and a good collection of crafter's who sell jewelry, children's decals, pottery, soaps, kids clothing and much more. This market has a book exchange, newspaper reading area, and live music.
Lonsdale Quay Farmers' Market on the East Plaza of Lonsdale Quay and Shops, 123 Carrie Cates Court, at the foot of Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver, every Saturday from May through October.
