由加拿大中文電台主辦的第 21 屆加拿大中文歌曲創作大賽（SQ21），以「歌創太極」為口號，代表音樂的想像無窮無盡，無始無終；曲和詞既可相輔相成，不同種類的音樂亦能互相啟發，令音樂的發展得以生生不息。 SQ21 已鐵定邀得香港殿堂級樂隊太極的兩位主要成員 - 主音歌手 Patrick 雷有輝和結他手 Joey 鄧建明，在 5 月 26 日 SQ21 決賽當晚擔任特別表演嘉賓。
