“I have 30 Years experience in Yoga and Tai Chi and I’ve never felt energy like this before…”
Space is limited to 30 participants.
As in my sound healing journeys, this sacred practice routinely produces a profound experience for anyone willing to sincerely try it.
The Breath Empowerment is done lying down on a yoga mat and no prior experience is necessary.
It is one of the few physical exercises you can do that increases your body's alkalinity; this is extremely healing as massive amounts of energy enter your body and create an engine-like vibration.
I will be right there to guide you through the process and prepare you for the next phase of the adventure - a transformational healing sound journey.
Together these two practices create an "off the charts" experience!
Doors open at 6:30 pm
Space is limited and prepaid registration is required to attend. Purchase tickets here or at Maa Yoga Studio during business hours.
About Matthew Kocel:
I was conceived in New Jersey and born in Alaska.
By the age of 10, I had crossed the Atlantic Ocean twice by boat, traveled throughout western Europe, lived in France, Germany and Virginia, swam naked in the Pentagon (that's right, THE Pentagon - I have witnesses!) and settled in Colorado for the next 33 years.
The transcendent qualities of music helped save me from total implosion in my youth. As a young man I played bass and sang in rock & progressive rock bands for 15 years...desperately seeking those timeless moments of opening to the greater reality of life.
In 1989 something magical happened when I walked into a metaphysical store for the first time and heard a sound that would change my life forever: it was a recording of the Gyuto monks from Tibet. For the next 10 years I tried, unsuccessfully, to mimic their deep voice overtone chants.
In 1994 I found a crystal on a mountaintop in South Park, Colorado. This marked the beginning of my journey into healing arts as an outward expression of my spiritual path.
In 1997 I began holding meditation circles in my home in Denver, Colorado. People came, some had extraordinary experiences.
In the meditation circles I began to use vocal harmonics to transmit the energies I was experiencing.
In 1999 I met my beloved wife during a spiritual retreat at Mount Shasta.
Later that year the Tibetan deep voice came through me which opened a whole new dimension of healing and transformation through music and sound...
This music is coming through now, in these chaotic times to help us re-member our total connection to each other and All That Is.
This is how our paths have crossed today.
