As their latest single “7” leaps into the top 10 at alternative radio, Catfish and the Bottlemen announce today that they will embark on a spring headline tour across North America. This tour kicks off May 2 and will bring the UK band back to the US and Canada, hitting venues such as the newly-reopened House of Blues in Anaheim on May 24. On May 6, Catfish and the Bottlemen will also be one of the first bands to play New York City’s newest venue, Brooklyn Steel, which opens this spring. In addition to headline shows, they will perform at Shaky Knees Music Festival in Atlanta, GA, BottleRock Napa Valley Festival in Napa, CA, and Sasquatch! Music Festival in George, WA. Following their headline dates, the band recently announced that they will join Green Day on their Revolution Radio Tour as direct support. The run begins August 1 in Seattle and spans amphitheaters, arenas, and stadiums across the country including Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL on August 24. Yesterday, it was revealed that the tour will conclude at Pasadena’s Rose Bowl stadium on September 16. Tickets for the Rose Bowl show will be on sale Friday, February 3, while the rest of the dates are available now on the band’s website.
Catfish and the Bottlemen’s sophomore album The Ride was released less than a year ago and is certified Gold in the UK (get the album HERE). Their newest single “7” is continuing its steady climb at alternative radio and is now #9. This tour announcement also follows the exciting news that the band’s debut The Balcony is now certified Platinum in the UK.
