Seven Tyrants Theatre presents EBENEZER. This December EBENEZER brings Dickens' beloved Christmas Carol rocketing to the 21st century with an entertaining new musical score and a vividly re-imagined story that celebrates the grim and macabre aspects of the original novel.
EBENEZER is a ghost story: Ebenezer Scrooge re-lives his nightmarish life in a single night wrought with wrenching loss, exploitation, isolation, and unrequited love. Narrated by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future and orchestrated by Ebenezer’s long-dead business partner Jacob Marley, Ebenezer’s path to redemption seems a futile one. But a man must find kindness in a harsh and unyielding world, and EBENEZER reminds us that there cannot be darkness without light.
