Juno nominated Soul/Folk artist Scotty Hills makes his debut at Guilt and Company
Date/Time: Jul 18 2017, 10:30 pm to 0:30 am
Vancouver, Guilt & Company
In the months leading up to his new release "Nature Girl", Scotty's diverse inspiration lead him by train to Detroit where he wrote with Motown alumni, a West coast road tip to Los Angeles writing pop for Rihanna, and recently playing L.A's legendary Hotel Cafe. Though he travels to gather stories, Scotty's muse rests by the Pacific Ocean, near his home on Vancouver Island.
For a decade Scotty toured the world as a drummer/vocalist playing his "first love" music; Chicago blues. He has backed iconic bluesmen such as Hubert Sumlin, Jody Williams, Downchild, The Perpetrators, Big Dave Mclean and has opened for Los Lobos, Chuck Berry, Taj Mahal, North Mississippi Allstars, Tegan and Sarah and more. A very soulful singer/songwriter.
