Anirevo is a collection of events that allow individuals to explore, celebrate and enjoy a colorful culture not readily available in North America.

As gatherings like these have been done before at: Anime Expo (Los Angeles), Acen (Chicago), CPAC, and Fanime (San Jose), and just recently Animethon (Edmonton) and Anime Weekend Atlanta (Atlanta), I'd like to try something different and in fact,
I also have friends in the U.S. who have been to these gatherings and they have been huge successes in terms of turn outs.
For the first time at AniRevo and since I can make it this year (Thank you for keeping the same dates, AniRevo and Animethon for moving it to the weekend after), I'd like to try out a new and unique type of cosplay gathering for cosplayers/crossplayers and fans of 2D (nijigen) idols from series like:

Cosplayers of characters wearing idol-like outfits from non-idol anime/manga/games is perfectly fine too!
ie. Asuna (Idol ver) outfit from Sword Art Online and there is actually a figure too!
for this year's AniRevo. I know there will be obviously be a Love Live! gathering since Love Live! cosplays/crossplays make up the majority of the populace at AniRevo and the Greater Vancouver cosplay community as a whole.
The gatherings had large turn outs and yes, since everyone's cosplay plans are different but if we can pull something like this off, we'd see various crossovers and I happen to be a fan of crossovers too!
Anyway, for those of you who would like to perform dance covers/踊ってみて(odottemite), I can also bring with me a bluetooth speaker too!
For those of you who would just rather sit/stand back and watch, I'll be providing my extra penlights/LED lightsticks for you so we can make it feel like an actual live.
