Robert Davidson is an internationally renowned multidisciplinary artist, deeply rooted in Haida cultural expression. Robert Davidson: Progression of Form will explore Davidson’s latest work within the context of contemporary Canadian art and Davidson’s cultural and artistic history. Although Davidson’s vision emerges from tradition, he pushes the boundaries of representation, striving for a universal artistic experience. Many of the artworks in the exhibition tend to abstraction while showing deep respect for traditional Haida expression - it is in this intersection we see the progression of form.?
