Witness Phillip Chin, dressed in period costume; demonstrate how this historical practice captures an image directly onto a
metal plate using 150-year-old formula and large format camera. This slow, meticulous hand-crafted process offers a depth and
beauty to a portraiture not found anywhere else.

A large map outlining lines of migration of birds and people is the center piece of an exhibition by the same name. Artist/Curator
Taslim Samji will lead an activity where participants add their own legacy to the map.
All ages are welcome, children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Visit with our Summer 2017 Artist-in-Residence Sharon Reay with her expressive and delightful sculptural figures and functional
pottery in the Steam Plant. See firsthand the results of pottery glazed in molten wood ash as it is taken out of the kiln.
