Guest reader Jonina Kirton is a prairie born Metis/Icelandic poet, graduated from Simon Fraser University's Writer's Studio in 2007. Jonina received the 2016 Mayor's Arts Award for Emerging Artist under the Literacy Arts category. Her second collection of poetry, An Honest Women, was released with Talonbooks in April 2017.
