7:30 SHOW
Your Moms
Your Moms bring their pleated jeans and unfiltered comedy to the stage as they charm their way through a high energy show that places them in the most unlikely or likely places such as a Gym or a Night Club. These four eccentric ladies give birth to some of the most unique and hilarious scenes all while showcasing their individual voices and dynamic female interrelations, spinning off into scenes that’ll make even your slightly racist grandmother blush.
Biggie & Smalls
Working off the backbone of a ten-year friendship, Biggie & Smalls is a rocket-fueled carpet ride duo that bounces through micro stories and relationships. They balance between familiarly playful and incredibly bizarre characters. But they are always there for one reason: to have a good time!
TwoSon.
TwoSon does slice-of-life, slow burn improv that all takes place in one large location, as suggested by the audience. Devon and Jackie play a variety of characters that all live in the same world. Their sets spin out on a theme but return to the original idea.
9:30 SHOW
Little Mountain Improv
Little Mountain Improv is an all star ensemble of Vancouver based improvisers who perform a dynamic weekly show in the heart of East Vancouver. With a huge expanse of collective experience LMI brings their honed skills together to forge new and exciting forms.
Reckless Theatre
We run riot with our hearts, out of our heads to create live theatre that hopes and dares to stun and astonish. We are actors, comedians, writers and artists. We roister and revel ensemble. Gazetted and ridiculous. We improvise with craft and care and sting and bite. We are wild. We are rowdy. We are reckless.
A single suggestion summons from the void a dark tableau of beings. Sneaking into our world from zapping synapses, characters materialize clamoring for action. Marvel as they transmogrify through a universe connected by quivering strings of laughter and love. It’s inspired creation by head-on collision lit by a fuse in the wilderness. It’s improvisation from Dark Sneak Love Action transforming the Cat’s Cradle form.
J Names
If you were to make a list of the top 10 improvisors in Portland, Coinsidentally (or not so coincidentally) most of the names are J Names. Breaking records at Friday Night Fights and Impressing crowds all around Portland, J Names brings all the “J” talent together from the entire Portland Improv Scene in to one super group. Featuring Jed Arkley, John Breen, Jay Flewelling, Justin Himes, Jenn Hunter, Jess Lee, Jake Michels and Janet Scanlon.
