Talk Felty To Me
Goodbye Sesame Street, hello Commercial Drive! Who needs skin when you’ve got felt? Instant Theatre is proud to present Talk Felty To Me – a night of explosively sexy/gratuitous/over-the-top improvised comedy that we just couldn’t show you on stage – unless we “did it” with puppets! This loop isn’t the only hole we’ve found – or filled!
Talk Felty to Me is the latest in late night entertainment from the producers of Shakespeare After Dark – The Bard, Improvised and Twisted and Truth Or Dare. This new monthly show features puppets like, “The Bush”, “Monster with no chest fur”, and “Stick ‘o’ Butter”. Join us to find just how deep the puppet hole goes.*
*Not for kids!
Tears in the Tar

K$M
K$M, pronounced K & M, splices the quick-witted comedic minds of Kirsten Rasmussen (Second City, Canadian Comedy Award Winner for Best Female Improviser) & Matt Folliott (Now Magazine Nominee for Best Male Improviser) and delivers a completely improvised show inspired by the movie Groundhog Day. K$M are 2015 Canadian Comedy Award Nominees for Best Improv Troupe and you can catch Kirsten and Matt on your TV screens in shows like Odd Squad, Make it Pop, Schitt’s Creek and some of your favorite commercials.
9:30 SHOW
Hip.Bang!
Hip.Bang! is a Canadian Comedy Award-nominated improv and sketch comedy duo from Vancouver whose playful, absurd scenes have delighted audiences around the world.
They have appeared at all manner of comedy and theatre festivals, including the 2013 and 2014 SF SketchFests, NXNE, Rapid Fire Theatre’s Improvaganza, the Del Close Marathon, the Detroit Improv Festival, Out of Bounds Comedy Festival in Austin, Texas, and many more!
The Future
The Future has been doing whatever it takes to make audiences laugh since 2013. Give them a suggestion and watch as it gets turned into a recreation of the past, a twisted sci-fi dystopia, or possibly a feat of physical strength. Comprised of some of Philadelphia’s top performers, The Future has built a reputation domestically and abroad as a group of weirdos who create comedy that is always more than the sum of their parts.
Ladies & Gentlemen.
Every Ladies & Gentlemen show is different, but they’re usually fast-paced fever pitches that allow for moments of quiet and calm. The vibe is loose and fun is first, and whether they’re improvising their way to a written punchline, or acting out a heavily rehearsed physical bit, their goal is to play off each other and make sure the audience is having one big, long, continuous good time.
