Five actors perform a contemporary version of Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus that one of them has penned…but they sometimes forget their lines, or they say what they want to, or refuse to stay dead when they are killed. Audaciously satirical and physical, Titus Bouffonius offers a lumpy, stumpy, disorienting look at violence, revenge, and broken baby dolls.
The draw: A new play by Governor General’s Award-winning playwright Colleen Murphy
