Focused exclusively on how to sell improv shows in Vancouver, this workshop will teach you the questions you need to ask when producing everything from your first short-form show at a bar to a fully costumed dramatic improvised theatre piece at the Rio.
Learning Outcomes:
- How to find and evaluate your show's selling points.
- The power of the holy trinity: title, image, and tagline - and how to make them work for you.
- What kind of online/print presence works in Vancouver and what is just extra work.
- Where to find photographers, videographers, and graphic designers and whether you really need them for your show.
- Budgets, communicating with venues, and press, oh my.
If you are currently producing a show, you are welcome to bring your show materials to the workshop to receive direct feedback.
