Brassfire is an eclectic mixture of musical genres and styles from classical to jazz, exemplifying the capabilities of the modern trumpet. Master trumpeter Jens Lindemann, hailed as one of the most celebrated soloists in his instrument’s history, has played in every major concert venue in the world: from the Philharmonics of New York, Los Angeles, London, and Berlin to Tokyo’s Suntory Hall and even the Great Wall of China.
An innovative concert experience featuring a range of styles, this is a journey from the classics of Bach and Debussy, via Piazzolla and Ellington, to the composers of today including Allan Gilliland and Kristian Alexandrov. Teamed up with pianist Krystian Zimerman, Jens’s showcase of trumpet fireworks is sure to be an unusual and spectacular performance.
