The evening will feature the music of Vancouver’s longest-running Celtic group Blackthorn with guest artist and Piper Matt Dolan, the Shot of Scotch Dancers under the Artistic Direction of Susan Nase and a tribute by Edward Morin to the poetic life of the Bard of Ayrshire, the Ploughman Poet; Robbie Burns.
Widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland, Robbie Burns is remembered and celebrated worldwide for his lyrical genius and his keen and empathetic observations of daily life over 250 years since his birth on January 25, 1759.
