This year’s Moving Art selections investigate concepts of action and reaction

An Equal or Opposite Reaction
A force is exerted, a container jostles, and whiskers are clipped to fall. Emojis and planets rotate in space. An anonymous hand caresses a woman, mirrored selves regard themselves as strangers, and anonymous strangers regret past deeds. Time and space contract and expand.
This year’s Moving Art selections investigate concepts of action and reaction. From the gravitational pull of the earth (and other heavenly bodies) to the physical and metaphorical consequences of our behavior, eight unique filmmakers examine our interactions with each other and the world around us.
