We are in the midst of a groundswell of interest in Indigenous art in Canada. As conversations around diversity and inclusion, dialogues and changes arise there is excitement and hope about the space being claimed for Indigenous art. IdigeDIV is an opportunity for Raven Spirit Dance to facilitate the claiming of that space in West Coast dance so that our, our peers, our experiences, our ancestors’ experiences and our children’s experiences are at the forefront of contemporary dance in Vancouver. All events are free to the public.
