The City of Richmond's Art, Culture and Heritage Services team is delighted to partner with celebrated Lower Mainland opera companies to present Minoru Chapel Opera. On the first Wednesdays in December audiences have the opportunity to hear selections from classic operas masterfully performed in an intimate and historic setting, a place that is typically enjoyed only by wedding guests and movie crews.
City Opera Vancouver returns to Minoru Chapel with an exciting concert of seasonal holiday music perfect for the whole family. Explore some of the earliest known Christmas music; you’ll hear familiar, classic melodies along with a few surprise songs to celebrate the holiday season. City Opera will provide music sheets at the door and an open invitation for everyone to sing along with the professionally trained opera singers to mark this special time of the season.
