In December, join us to hear about what the past year has been like for artist Barbara Meneley, the 2017 Branscombe House Artist-in-Residence. Barbara will share her experiences as an artist in residence, including details on the application process, working with the public, and how it aligned with her own art practice.

Artist Biography:
Barbara Meneley is a prairie-based Canadian visual artist whose interdisciplinary site responsive work engages with the landscapes and foundations of contemporary society and culture. Her work evolves through theoretical inquiry and contemporary intermedia art—installation, media, performance, and engaged practice. Barbara holds a PhD in Cultural Studies from Queen’s University (2015), an MFA in Intermedia from the University of Regina (2008), and a BA in Communications from Simon Fraser University (1995).
