Ever looked up the night sky and wondered what constellations you are looking at? Ever been curious about how we explored the interstellar world? Interested in making space related art for yourselves?
We will have astronomy activities such as Button making, Galaxy art, a photobooth and stargazing to recognize the constellations (if Raincouver permits). As well, special guests from the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada will have a presentation. Talk to the experts, explore your interests, and get immersed in astronomy science!
As always, guests can enjoy free access to science world galleries. Light refreshments will be provided, as well prizes to be won!
You can also learn about some of the strategies Precious Frog is using to help conserve the endangered Oregon Spotted Frog. Check out their awareness and fund-raising display of amphibian art in our foyer!
