Takuya Kimura stars as Manji, a highly skilled samurai warrior who becomes cursed with immortality following a particularly brutal battle. Haunted by the savage murder of his younger sister, Manji knows that only fighting (and killing) evil will regain his soul, and free him from the curse. He finds himself promising to help train a young girl named Rin (Hana Sugisaki) avenge her own parents who were killed by a group of master swordsmen - led by a ruthless warrior named Anotsu (Sôta Fukushi). The mission will change Manji in ways he could never imagine...
