Date/Time: Nov 12 2017, 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Vancouver, Red Gate Revue StageCost: by donation
From October 1st through November 18th, groups around the world will be taking part in Climate Change Theatre Action with The Arctic Cycle.
Contributors will choose works from the readings and performances intended to bring awareness to, and foster discussion around, climate change.
Some of the other contributors to the event are Julia Siedlanowska, Lindsay Curl and Danielle Klaudt, Rene Iaci of Shameless Hussy, Brenda Munoz, Linda Pitt of Resounding Scream, Lori Watt of Flocking Divas with Lindsay Nelson and Charity Principe, Sara Vickruck and Jamie King, and Chelsea Haberlin.
The main goal of the international project is to invite as many people as possible to participate in a global conversation about climate change. Vancouver’s Climate Change Theatre Action represents one response by local theatre artists – writers, actors, directors - to the international call to respond to a global issue.
Entry is by donation at the door
