This performance is directed by BC-based, award-winning teacher, writer and storyteller, Comfort Adesuwa Ero. African Stages Association of British Columbia uses African Performing Arts as a way of teaching. Their performance will be full of African stories, dances and drumming, featuring performances of: West African Harvest and Kassa Dance, South African Gumboot Dance, stories from West and East Africa full of variety in animal characters, dances, magic, and music – accompanied by the energetic drumming of their youth performers.
