On Saturday November 25, 2017, between 2:00pm and 5:00pm, at Grandview Park, the Commercial Drive Business Society presents their annual free public event, Christmas on The Drive.
We invite you, your friends, your family, all Commercial Drive residents and the entire Grandview-Woodland community to join us in celebrating the start of holiday season!
Share in the joy and laughter of the Christmas season including pictures with Santa, and horse-drawn carriage rides along Commercial Drive and through the neighbourhood (embarkation and complimentary hot beverages/treats from The Drive Mortgage Store, 1250 Commercial Drive). Sing-a-long to seasonal live music from with duelling pianos, St Francis of Assisi Elementary School Choir, or visit the Kids Zone, featuring a craft area, caricature artist, balloon twisting, and face painters. Do not miss the complimentary hot chocolate and tasty treats at our food tents, courtesy of your local Starbucks and the Penny Pub providing delicious Italian Meatball Sub Sandwiches. Of course, do not miss the main event of the evening, the tree lighting at 5:00 pm!
This event is solely produced and funded by the Commercial Drive Business Society and is sure to bring Christmas cheer for the entire family, to Grandview Park, during this exciting annual event.
