NPR describes the band’s sound as “heavy jazz: lots of horns, pummeling rhythms, and a fierce huge sound.” In concert, Troker’s pulsing cacophony of “immediately infectious tunes” (The Huffington Post) has made them a festival favourite (they were the first band in the history to play twice, in consecutive years, at the West Holts Stage of the legendary Glastonbury Festival in England), and SXSW, which billed Troker as “a powerful expression of contemporary Mexico.”
“Troker’s performance was noisy, chaotic, sprawling, messy, and altogether wonderful.” – All About Jazz
"Saying Troker is a jazz band from Mexico doesn't even begin to cover the musical punch these guys deliver." – NPR
Presented with the Chutzpah! Festival
